Health, Fitness, Fun in One ~ Yogarates ~ Groovie!


Groovie Girls have a great time together
while strengthening their mind and body!
Groovie Girls Yogarates is a fun innovative way to introduce girls ages 6-12 to Yoga, Pilates, and Karate. Yoga will help to increase flexibility and range of motion. Pilates is incorporated to help build coordination, develop mind/body awareness and create long, lean muscles. Karate/Martial Arts is incorporated to develop self control, awareness and discipline. Yogarates will encourage the girls to explore and discover their mind, body and spirit in a fun filled environment. They will develop confidence, compassion, respect and patience for others while learning to stimulate their imagination and help release energy and even stress from school, homework and friends.

The groovie girls practice breathing/relaxation techniques, yoga, pilates and martial arts. It is very helpful for their bodies, which are still developing, as well as their minds, teaching them to relax while encouraging self-control. The class offers a natural way to exercise, focus and strengthen their mind and body while encouraging them to have a strong spirit. It is a great way to introduce health, fitness and basic anatomy to girls while having fun.
